AI account mapping
Point Cert IQ at your trial balance export and it proposes the GloBE account mapping — every line with a reason. You approve, adjust, or reject each one before anything is saved. What used to be a day of spreadsheet cross-referencing becomes a review exercise.
GIR pre-filing review
Before your GloBE Information Return goes anywhere, Cert IQ reads it the way a reviewer would: flagging inconsistencies between sections, missing elections, and figures that look out of pattern against the underlying calculation — each with an explanation, not just a warning icon.
Ask Cert IQ
A free-text advisor on every results screen. Ask why a jurisdiction failed the Simplified ETR test, what would change if it elected the QDMTT safe harbour, or where a number came from — and get an answer that cites the OECD article and your own data.
Variance narration
The dashboard doesn't just show movements between years and scenarios — Cert IQ narrates them in plain language, so the story behind the deltas is ready before the CFO asks.
What it never does
The trust argument is architectural, not promissory.
It never computes your figures
Every number in Cert comes from the deterministic calculation engine, article by article. Cert IQ explains, maps, and reviews — it has no write access to the waterfall.
It never files anything
Returns are generated by the engine and sealed through the approval workflow. Cert IQ can review a return; it cannot create, amend, or submit one.
Nothing happens without you
Every Cert IQ suggestion — a mapping line, a review flag — requires an explicit user action before it takes effect. There is no autonomous mode.
It switches off completely
Disable Cert IQ tenant-wide and every AI surface disappears. Cert is fully functional without it — no degraded mode, no nagging.
How your data flows
Short enough to forward to IT and legal — that's the point of this page.
Request-scoped context only
When you use a Cert IQ feature, only the context that request needs — for example, the account descriptions being mapped, or the return section being reviewed — is sent. Never your whole dataset.
Through a production gateway
Requests travel through Cert's dedicated AI gateway running on Azure Container Apps — with authentication, scoping, and rate control — to Anthropic's Claude model.
Processed, answered, not retained
Requests are processed under commercial API terms that do not permit training on your data. Results are returned to your session; your data at rest stays in your Dataverse tenant.
AI where you want it. None where you don't.
Cert IQ disables per tenant. Cert is fully functional without it — and it's priced separately, so you never pay for AI you can't use.

Can we buy Cert without any AI?
Yes — and that's by design. Cert IQ is a separately priced add-on, never bundled in. Without it, no AI features appear anywhere in the product and no data ever leaves your tenant for AI processing.
Our policy prohibits AI on tax data. Is Cert still usable?
Fully. The calculation engine, governance layer, GIR, and CbCR have no dependency on Cert IQ. Several capabilities exist precisely because some organisations can't use AI — the deterministic engine and the audit trail carry the product on their own.
Which model does Cert IQ use?
Anthropic's Claude, accessed via Cert's production gateway on Azure. The model never has standing access to your environment — it sees only the context sent with each request.
Can we trial Cert with AI switched off?
Yes. The trial request form asks whether you want Cert IQ enabled — Yes, No, or Decide later. The choice is yours from day one, and it can be changed at any time.
